Bhutan Volleyball Federation

Bhutan Volleyball Federation was one of the first federations that Bhutan Olympic Committee created. There was no constitution as such and the federation was as one of the sports branch of Bhutan Olympic Committee. It was then in 1992 when BOC handed over the federation to the first General Secretary Dasho Meghraj Gurung.

Over the years there were few changes in personnel in the federation and there was a steady progress. Now the federation has a constitution, executive members and a set programmes every year.

Mission

The mission of the federation is to:

1. Make volleyball as one of the most favourite sports in the country.
2. Establish volleyball for all.
3. Involve more women in volleyball.
4. Participate in regional and international competitions
