Bhutan’s Young Journalist to Represent the World at Asian Games 2026

Meera Regmi, a 15-year-old student from Tsangchutham Village, Phuntshothang Gewog, who has just etched her name into history. Currently studying in Class X at Khangkhu Middle Secondary School in Paro, Meera has become the first-ever candidate from Bhutan—and the world—to be selected for the prestigious 20th Asian Games Youth Reporter Program, to be held in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan in 2026.

Physiological and Psychological Training for Athletes’ Program Concludes at Bhutan Shooting Federation

A weeklong program, ‘Physiological and Psychological Training for Athletes’ concluded today at the Bhutan Shooting Federation in Changlimithang, Thimphu. The training was led by Dr. Vandana Tanwar, a renowned sports physiotherapist from India, and was conducted with support from the Government of India and the Bhutan Olympic Committee.
