Twenty Athletes Ink BEAST Contracts for the year 2025 – 2026

Yesterday, twenty elite athletes officially signed high-performance contracts under the Bhutan Elite Athlete Support and Training (BEAST) Program for the 2025–2026 cycle. The cohort comprises one Gold, ten Silver, and nine Bronze athletes, with runner Kinley Tshering receiving a special upgrade to Gold Tier in recognition of his outstanding international performance. A two-day Methodology and Design Support Course is currently underway at the Bhutan Olympic Committee from 15–16 November 2025, organized by the Bhutan Aquatics Federation with support from World Aquatics and the BOC. The course focuses on developing structured training plans, periodization, nutrition monitoring, and competition pathway planning, all aimed at aligning with the BEAST High Performance structure and enhancing the overall performance of Bhutanese athletes in major competitions.

Final Touches Before the Start of Competition for Team Bhutan

Team Bhutan, comprising eight archers and four officials, completed their practice session, equipment inspection, and technical meeting today at the National Stadium in Dhaka, Bangladesh, ahead of the 24th Asian Archery Championship 2025. The team, featuring archers in both Compound and Recurve categories, demonstrated focus and readiness as the qualification round starts on 9th November 2025 at 9:00 AM.

Bhutan’s Archery Team Set to Depart for Bangladesh for the Asian Archery Championship

The Bhutan Archery Federation (BAF) will leave on 7th November, 2025, to participate in the 24th Asian Archery Championship 2025, scheduled to take place in Bangladesh from 7th to 14th November.
