Taekwondo Officially Confirmed for Team Bhutan at Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games

Team Bhutan continues to grow as preparations intensify for Asia’s biggest sporting stage.

Following Bhutan’s official confirmation to participate in the 20th Asian Games, officially known as Aichi-Nagoya 2026, scheduled to be held in Japan from September 19 to October 4, 2026, the Bhutan Olympic Committee has announced another exciting development for the country’s sporting journey.

Earlier, Bhutan confirmed its participation in Archery (Recurve and Compound), Boxing, and Athletics, while discussions and confirmations were ongoing regarding additional sports including Shooting, Taekwondo, and Judo.

Today, the Bhutan Olympic Committee officially confirmed that Taekwondo will be part of Team Bhutan’s contingent for the 20th Asian Games.
