A District Sports Association (DSA) is an organization that promotes and governs a specific sport or group of sports within a specific district or region. They are similar to a Sports Association but they operate at a district or region, they may be affiliated with a larger state or national sports organization. They may also serve as a link between the state or national Sport Association and local sports clubs and teams within the district.

They often provide resources, training, and support to local athletes, coaches, and teams, and work to grow participation in the sport within the district. They also organize local and district level competitions and events. DSAs also help to promote the sport within the district and to increase awareness of the sport. They may also work with schools and youth orgaizations to encourage young people to participate in the sport. They are also responsible for implementing and enforcing the rules and regulations set by the district or national Sports Association.
