Bhutan Karate Team Shines with 16 Medal Haul at 4th Kalimpong Open Karate Championship 2026
The Bhutan Olympic Committee extends its warmest congratulations to the Bhutan Karate Association and the entire Bhutanese contingent for their outstanding achievement at the 4th Kalimpong Open Karate Championship held on 30–31 January 2026 in Kalimpong, West Bengal, India.
Winning a total of 16 medals, including 7 gold, 3 silver, and 6 bronze, is a remarkable accomplishment and a proud moment for Bhutan. This success reflects the dedication, discipline, and perseverance of our athletes, as well as the quality of coaching, officiating, and team management supporting them.
