Anti-Doping Seminar and Posing Course
Conducted Ahead of the 16th South Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championships 2026 and Mr. Bhutan 2026
As preparations continue for the 16th South Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championships 2026, followed by the prestigious Mr. Bhutan competition, participants attended an informative and educational session this morning aimed at promoting excellence both on and off the stage.
Mr. Nima Gyeltshen from the Bhutan Anti-Doping Committee (BADC) conducted an insightful seminar on anti-doping, emphasizing the importance of clean sport, athlete responsibilities, and adherence to anti-doping regulations. The session provided valuable knowledge to athletes, coaches, and officials, reinforcing the principles of fair play, integrity, and ethical sporting practices.
The seminar highlighted the critical role that athletes and support personnel play in maintaining a doping-free sporting environment and ensuring compliance with international anti-doping standards.
Following the seminar, participants took part in a posing course conducted by the Bhutan Bodybuilding Association. The practical session focused on enhancing posing techniques, stage presentation, and competition readiness, equipping athletes with the skills needed to confidently showcase their physiques during the championships.
The 16th South Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championships 2026 will be held on 2nd and 3rd July 2026, followed by Mr. Bhutan 2026 on 5th July 2026, at Clock Tower Square, Thimphu. These educational and practical sessions form an important part of the preparations, ensuring that participants are well-informed, professionally prepared, and committed to upholding the values of clean and fair sport.
