The Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) has established a series of Fun Run+Learn and Asian Games Youth Reporter Project around the continent, not only to achieve these aims but also to create awareness of and promote the 17th Asian Games, which will be held in Incheon, Korea, in 2014.

The main objective of the event is to promote the Olympic Values in our continent and promote Incheon Asian games 2014 among the 45 OCA National Olympic Committees and also pro actively position OCA and IAGOC in sports and youth development.

The Asian Games Youth Reporter Project is aiming to promote sports journalism and different Asian Games among Asian youth. The Project features a three hour workshop which include typical challenges faced by reporters covering the Asian games such as preparation and research on athletes and sports, sports reporting and conducting interviews with athletes.

Therefore the Olympic Council of Asia proposed the Bhutan Olympic Committee to organize the OCA Fun Learn and Youth Reporter Project on the 22nd and 23rd of February,2013 coinciding with His Majesty’s Birth Anniversary .

The winner of the Youth Reporter Project will be invited to one of the OCA’s Games together with an accompanied guest of his/her interest. The OCA Fun Learn Quiz winner will be invited to Incheon, Korea for the final round and the grand winner will be  invited to Incheon Asian Games accompanied by a guest of his/her interest.
