DANTAK Open Mountain Bike Race was first organized in April 2011 to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of Project DANTAK.
The Race has now become an annual affair and attracts large participation from people of all age groups. This race is organized in collaboration with the Bhutan Olympic Committee and other Departments of the Royal Government of Bhutan.
The route for the race is Thimphu-Paro-Thimphu, which covers approx. a distance of 100 kms (Starting from Changlimithan Parking and finishing at the Clock Tower Square, Thimphu).
