The opening ceremony of the Second Edition of the Summer Immersion Program in Media, Coaching & Refereeing was held at the Conference Hall of the Bhutan Olympic Committee (BOC) today 4th July 2026, marking the beginning of a week-long learning journey for school students and teachers. Organized by the Bhutan Olympic Committee with support from the Olympic Solidarity, the programme is designed to equip participants with practical knowledge, leadership skills, and hands-on experience in sports media, coaching, and refereeing.

His Royal Highness Prince Jigyel Ugyen Wangchuck Graces the MoU Signing Ceremony Between the Bhutan Paralympic Committee and the Japanese Paralympic Committee

The Bhutan Paralympic Committee (BPC) and the Japanese Paralympic Committee (JPC) today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during a formal ceremony held at Zhiwaling Ascent in Thimphu. The ceremony was graced by His Royal Highness Prince Jigyel Ugyen Wangchuck, President of the Bhutan Olympic Committee, whose gracious presence added profound significance to this historic milestone for the Paralympic Movement in Bhutan.
