The 5th Edition of the DANTAK Open Mountain Bike Race is scheduled on April 19, 2015.
The race route for this year is from Changlingmethang Parking,Thimphu to Drugyel, turning point (few meters away from the Drugyel HSS gate) and then back to Clock Tower, Thimphu.
This race is supported by the Bhutan Olympic Committee, the Royal Bhutan Police, Traffic Division; Road Safety & Transport Authority, and JDWNR Hospital.
This year’s race is dedicating to His Majesty the 4th DruK Gyalpo celebrating his 60th Birth Anniversary with a theme “Challenge 60-SIXTY”- a distance from Thimphu to Drugyel is 60kms and 60 kms back, making a total distance of 120 kms .

1. FIRST PRIZE – NU 65,000
2. SECOND PRIZE – NU 45,000
3. THIRD PRIZE – NU 25,000
4. FOURTH PRIZE – NU 15,000
5. FIFTH PRIZE – NU 10,000
ELDEST & YOUNGEST PARTICIPANT COMPLETING THE RACE – NU 10,000 EACH
CHILDREN BELOW 16 YEARS OF AGE
1. FIRST PRIZE – NU 15,000
2. SECOND PRIZE – NU 10,000
