ACB Conducts Athletes’ Forum to Strengthen Athlete Engagement and Support
The Athletes’ Commission of Bhutan (ACB) successfully conducted the Athletes’ Forum on 26 December 2025, bringing together athletes and key stakeholders for dialogue, information sharing, and feedback.
The forum featured a structured agenda covering three main areas:
• A review of ACB activities completed in 2025
• Updates on IOC and OCA Athletes’ Commission programs and opportunities
• A detailed presentation on the Athletes 365 platform, with focus on career development during and post-athletic life
Athletes 365 platform, highlights initiatives available to support athletes during and after their sporting careers.
The session concluded with an open forum, allowing athletes to raise concerns, share experiences, and provide feedback directly to the Commission.
The forum was attended by ACB Chair Mr. Sonam Thinley, Member and Paralympian Ms. Chimi Dema, Member Secretary Mr. Kesang Phuntsho Tshering, who also facilitated discussions, and Member and Olympian Ms. Kuezang Choden. Secretary General of the Bhutan Olympic Committee, Mr. Sonam Karma Tshering, attended the forum and delivered the opening remarks.
A total of 25 athletes representing 12 federations and associations participated, making the forum a meaningful platform for strengthening athlete representation, communication, and support.
The forum is organized by the Athlete Commission of Bhutan in collaboration with the Bhutan Olympic Committee and with support from Olympic Solidarity.
