Bhutan to Host Historic Four Nations
Boxing Joint Training and Championship 2025

For the first time,  Bhutan will host the Four Nations Boxing Joint Training and Championship, scheduled to take place from 11th to 13th April 2025 at the iconic Clock Tower Square , Thimphu. This landmark event will bring together boxers and officials from India, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Bhutan, signifying a major milestone in Bhutan’s sporting journey. 

The championship is being organised by the Bhutan Boxing Federation, in collaboration with the Bhutan Olympic Committee, and generously supported by the Government of India. As the host nation, Bhutan is honoured to welcome its South Asian neighbours to an event that transcends competition—celebrating unity, discipline, and athletic excellence.

With a total of 49 participants and officials from the visiting countries, the event includes a dynamic blend of joint training and competitive boxing. Bhutan will be represented by 6 male and 6 female boxers, while India fields 5 male and 3 female, Nepal brings 5 male and 4 female, and Bangladesh contributes 3 male and 2 female athletes.

This championship is designed not only as a platform for high-level competition but also as a collaborative training initiative, allowing athletes from the four nations to learn from each other, share techniques, and build lasting bonds beyond the boxing ring.
