Bhutan’s Young Runners Gear Up
for the Ultimate Olympic Fun Run!
The air in Thimphu is buzzing with excitement as the city prepares to welcome the OCA & OS Regional Forum 2025. But this isn’t just about meetings and discussions—it’s about action, energy, and bringing the Olympic spirit to life! And what better way to do that than with a high-energy Fun Run?
On April 3, from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM, the streets will come alive as 250 young runners from Yangchenphu, Lungtenzampa, Pelkhil, Druk, and Thimphu High School lace up their sneakers and take on a 2.5 km race to Buddha Point. But they won’t be running alone—international delegates, athletes, and sports leaders will join in, making this more than just a race. It’s a celebration of youth, passion, and Olympic values.
This isn’t about finishing first—it’s about embracing the spirit of sportsmanship, endurance, and unity. It’s about young athletes pushing their limits while running alongside some of the biggest names in the sporting world.
