His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali Al-Khalifa, Governor of the Southern Province, warmly received His Royal Highness Prince Jigyel Ugyen Wangchuck, the King’s Representative and President of the Bhutan Olympic Committee, during the latter’s visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain. The meeting was also attended by His Highness Colonel Hamad Mohamed Al-Khayat, Deputy Governor, along with several officials from the Southern Province.

During the meeting, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa extended a heartfelt welcome to HRH Prince Jigyel, emphasizing the strong and enduring bilateral relations shared by Bahrain and Bhutan. He praised the collaborative efforts to enhance communication and coordination between the two nations, which aim to foster deeper ties and pave the way for new avenues of cooperation.
