Bhutan Olympic Committee Congratulates Newly Elected Bhutan Tennis Federation Executive Members
THIMPHU, BHUTAN – September 11, 2025 – The Bhutan Olympic Committee (BOC) extends its warmest congratulations to the newly elected executive members of the Bhutan Tennis Federation (BTF). The new committee was elected during the BTF’s Annual General Meeting held on September 6, 2025.
The BOC looks forward to working closely with the new leadership to further the development and promotion of tennis in the country. The newly elected members are:
- Dasho Tshering Gyeltshen, President
- Dasho Tshewang C. Dorji, Vice-President
- Ms. Sonam Yangchen, General Secretary
- Mr. Tshewang Namgay, Treasurer
- Mr. Tshering Namgay, Technical Director
- Mr. Karma Choeda, Executive Member
- Ms. Tandin Wangmo Dorji, Executive Member
The BOC also wishes to express its sincere gratitude to the outgoing President, Dasho Palden J. Dorji, and all other former members for their dedicated service, tireless efforts, and energy in contributing to the growth of tennis in the country. We wish them the very best in their future endeavors.
We are confident that this new team, under the leadership of Dasho Tshering Gyeltshen, will bring renewed energy and vision to the Bhutan Tennis Federation. Their combined experience and dedication will be instrumental in nurturing young talent and raising the profile of tennis both nationally and internationally.
The BOC reaffirms its commitment to supporting all national sports federations and their efforts to inspire excellence and foster a vibrant sporting culture in Bhutan.
