Bhutan Confirms Participation in the 20th Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026
The Bhutan Olympic Committee is pleased to officially confirm that Bhutan will participate in the 20th Asian Games, officially named Aichi‑Nagoya 2026 (XX Asiad), scheduled to take place in Japan from September 19 to October 4, 2026. The Games will bring together athletes from across Asia to compete in 41 sports, including the debut of esports, breaking, and cricket on the continental stage.
Bhutan’s contingent will compete in Archery (Recurve and Compound), Boxing, and Athletics at Aichi‑Nagoya 2026. Further confirmation of participation in Shooting, Taekwondo, and Judo will be announced on 30 May 2026.
