“Pedals & Prayers” to Make Its First-Ever Bhutan Screening

The Bhutan Olympic Committee (BOC) is excited to announce a special one-time screening of the inspiring new documentary Pedals & Prayers — happening for the very first time in Bhutan on 6 December 2025 at the BOC Conference Hall. (Final timing to be confirmed.)

Pedals & Prayers tells the remarkable story of Tshering Dendup and Viktor Zichó, who, in the spring of 2024, became the first people in history to cycle the entire Trans-Bhutan Trail. Their journey is a powerful blend of endurance, culture, and the unmatched beauty of Bhutan’s landscapes. Although the film will hit cinemas across Europe starting November 2025, Bhutanese audiences will get an exclusive preview — right here at home.

What makes this screening even more special is the presence of Mr. Zoltan Valcsicsak, one of the contributors featured in the documentary. Joining us all the way from Budapest (Hungary), he will be hosting a live talk session during the event. Zoltan is the founding president of the Hungary–Bhutan Friendship Society and the first international volunteer of the Loden Foundation. His experiences span organizations like Renault, USAID, Levi Strauss Foundation, Ashoka, Tarayana, YDF and more. He is also the author of the first-ever Hungarian book on Bhutan and continues to guide visitors through Bhutan’s stories and landscapes.

Limited Seats — First Come, First Served

This exclusive screening is free of charge, as a humble initiative from the Bhutan Olympic Committee to promote and celebrate Bhutan’s adventure culture and storytelling. However, only 35 seats are available. Attendance will be confirmed strictly on a first-come, first-served basis.

To secure your seat, please register using the Google Form link ( https://forms.gle/Xcm9jvZdgUq2GGPC7 )that is be shared or fill the form embedded below .
