2nd Batch of De-suung Skilling Programme Concludes
The month-long De-suung Skilling Programme in swimming officially concluded today with a certificate distribution ceremony at the Bhutan Aquatic Centre. The closing was attended by Mr. Sonam Karma Tshering, Secretary General of the Bhutan Olympic Committee.
Addressing the participants, Mr. Sonam Karma Tshering emphasized that the skills acquired through the training should not only be seen as technical additions but embraced as life skills—tools to be practiced and applied in everyday life. He encouraged the participants to continue honing their abilities beyond the training ground and carry forward the discipline and commitment they have cultivated.
This marks the successful completion of the second batch of De-suups under the swimming skilling programme. The initiative has seen enthusiastic participation, particularly from young Gyalsups, whose energy and spirit added vibrancy to the training.
The Bhutan Swimming Federation, in partnership with the De-suung Skilling Programme, has been instrumental in organizing and facilitating the training, ensuring a strong foundation in both skill development and service to the nation.
Congratulations to all the participants, and heartfelt appreciation to De-suung and the Bhutan Swimming Federation for their continued efforts in empowering youth through sports and skills training.
