Bhutan’s Archery Team Set to Depart for Bangladesh for the Asian Archery Championship
The Bhutan Archery Federation (BAF) will depart on 7th November 2025 to participate in the 24th Asian Archery Championship 2025, which will be held in Bangladesh from 7th to 14th November 2025.
The championship will bring together top archers from across Asia, and Bhutan will be among the participating nations aiming to showcase their growing talent in both the recurve and compound categories.
The Bhutanese team includes coaches Mr. Ajeet and Mr. Tashi Tshering for the compound category, and Ms. Younten Zangmo as part of the coaching team. Representing Bhutan in the recurve division are Mr. Kinley Tshering, Mr. Sonam Penjor, and Mr. Lam Dorji, while Mr. Tandin Dorji, Ms. Dorji Dolma, Mr. Kezang Norbu, Mr. Tshetum Gaytshey, and Mr. Khendrup will compete in the compound events.





The team shared their excitement and determination before departure, expressing confidence in giving their best performance at the regional stage. The Bhutan Archery Federation also shared that this championship will help the archers gain more international exposure and experience, which is vital for the development of the sport in the country.
