Sarpang witnessed a delightful beginning to the 17th National School Games 2025 today, with the opening ceremony graced by the Honourable Dasho Dr. Lotay Tshering, Governor of Gelephu Mindfulness City.

The 17th National School Games 2025 in Sarpang brings together students, educators, athletes, and officials from across Bhutan in a celebration of youth sport, unity, and excellence. Supported by Olympic Solidarity and jointly organized by the Ministry of Education and Skills Development and the Bhutan Olympic Committee, the Games aim to nurture young sporting talent, uphold Olympic values, and create meaningful sporting experiences that contribute to the holistic development of Bhutan’s youth—both on and off the field.
