A three-day Sports Nutrition Workshop for BEAST athletes began today, organized by the Athlete Commission of Bhutan in collaboration with the Bhutan Olympic Committee, with support from Olympic Solidarity. The workshop aims to strengthen elite athletes’ knowledge of sports nutrition through science-based sessions, practical assessments, and individualized consultations to enhance performance and long-term athlete development.

The signing of the MoU between the Bhutan Paralympic Committee (BPC) and Bhutan Insurance Limited (BIL) was graced by Her Royal Highness Princess Eeuphelma Choden Wangchuck, President of the Bhutan Paralympic Committee, marking a significant milestone in the ongoing efforts to promote and develop sports for persons with impairments in Bhutan.

On 30th November 2025, 34 BEAST athletes from six national sports federations underwent comprehensive Body Biometric Testing and Nutrition Assessment at the National Coaching Academy of the Bhutan Olympic Committee. Conducted in two batches, the program included advanced body composition analysis using the Accuniq system, blood sample collection, and individualized nutrition consultations by professionals from JDWNRH.
