Strength and Conditioning Course Kicks Off at BOC Conference Hall

A four-day Strength and Conditioning Course began today at the Bhutan Olympic Committee (BOC) Conference Hall, bringing together 28 participants from all national sports federations. The program, which runs from September 29 to October 2, 2025, is hosted by the Bhutan Amateur Athletic Federation (BAAF) in collaboration with the Bhutan Olympic Committee and supported by Olympic Solidarity.

The course is being conducted by two internationally certified trainers from World Athletics, marking a significant opportunity for Bhutanese coaches and federations to upgrade their technical expertise in athlete development.

Speaking at the opening, Dorji Tenzin, General Secretary of the Bhutan Amateur Athletic Federation, emphasized the importance of the initiative:

“This training is extremely helpful for our sporting community. We want all national sports federations in Bhutan to make the most of this opportunity and integrate modern strength and conditioning methods into their programs.”
