14th Royal Wedding Golf Tournament Concludes with Flair and Finesse
The 14th Royal Wedding Golf Tournament concluded yesterday after five days of competitive golf at Drukpoi Golf Course in Dechencholing. The tournament began on 15th October 2025, with the first three days (15th–17th October) for qualifying rounds, followed by the final two days (18th–19th October) of championship play, where top golfers competed for the titles.
The tournament featured impressive performances from all participants. Spectators witnessed some remarkable moments, including long drives landing near the greens, precise chips that set up birdies, and clutch putts that turned the tide in several matches. Every player demonstrated focus and determination, making the rounds highly competitive and engaging.
The closing prize ceremony was held at Lungtenphu, Royal Bhutan Army, and was attended by Yab Dasho Dhondup Gyaltshen and Lt. Gen. Batoo Tshering, Chief Operations Officer of the Royal Bhutan Army. Winners were recognized for their skill and consistency throughout the tournament.

- Gross Winner: Sal Bdr Tamang
- Amateurs’ Winner: Nim Dorji Tamang
- Junior Girls’ Winner: Ugyen Dema
- Junior Boys’ Winner: Tshering Dendup
