Organized by the Bhutan Aquatics Federation with support from World Aquatics and the Bhutan Olympic Committee, the program marked an important stride toward strengthening Bhutan’s coaching system and athlete development framework

A two-day Methodology and Design Support Course is currently underway at the Bhutan Olympic Committee from 15–16 November 2025, organized by the Bhutan Aquatics Federation with support from World Aquatics and the BOC. The course focuses on developing structured training plans, periodization, nutrition monitoring, and competition pathway planning, all aimed at aligning with the BEAST High Performance structure and enhancing the overall performance of Bhutanese athletes in major competitions.

The Bhutan Olympic Committee (BOC) is pleased to acknowledge the arrival of Mr. Ravi Raj Rai, the newly appointed Technical Director, and Mr. Norvies Sanchez Nunez from Cuba, who will serve as the Head Coach for the Bhutan Boxing Federation (BBF).

The Bhutan Archery Federation (BAF) will leave on 7th November, 2025, to participate in the 24th Asian Archery Championship 2025, scheduled to take place in Bangladesh from 7th to 14th November. The championship will feature top archers from across Asia, with Bhutan competing in both the recurve and compound categories.

On 4th November 2025, the Bhutan Archery Federation (BAF) organized a Compound and Recurve Archery Exhibition Match at the Langjophakha Archery Range in Thimphu as part of the team’s preparation for the upcoming 24th Asian Archery Championship 2025 in Bangladesh.

The event brought together Bhutan’s top archers to refine their techniques, strengthen team coordination, and assess their readiness ahead of the continental competition. Coaches expressed confidence in the team’s focus and discipline, emphasizing that the exhibition served as an important platform to fine-tune performance before representing Bhutan on the regional stage.

The curtain has closed on the 3rd Asian Youth Games 2025 in Bahrain, marking a proud chapter for Team Bhutan. Competing across six sports—Taekwondo, Boxing, Muay, Swimming, Athletics, and Judo—Bhutan’s young athletes showcased not only their skill but also the nation’s enduring spirit of resilience and unity. For many, it was their first step onto the international stage, carrying Bhutan’s flag with pride and determination.

As the flame was extinguished at Khalifa Sports City Centre, Bhutan celebrated more than results, it celebrated growth, friendship, and the power of sport to inspire a generation. With the next edition set for Tashkent, Uzbekistan in 2029, Bhutan looks ahead with renewed passion, ready to build on the experience and spirit ignited in Bahrain.
