The 18th Thimphu Half Marathon, organized by the Bhutan Amateur Athletic Federation (BAAF) with support from the Bhutan Olympic Committee, painted the capital in hues of endurance and unity this morning. Despite the chilly drizzle and grey skies that greeted the city at dawn, nothing could extinguish the fire and enthusiasm of the runners who turned up in full spirit to celebrate fitness, focus, and fraternity.

The India House Golf Tournament 2025 will be held from 11-16 November 2025 at the India House Eco Park, India House Estate, Thimphu.

Organized by the Embassy of India in Bhutan since 1995, the tournament is a key event on Bhutan’s sporting calendar.

Over 435 young women from 11 schools traded their Saturday and Sunday leisure time for cricket, for camaraderie, for a chance to discover the strength within themselves.

Team Bhutan made a proud appearance at the 3rd Asian Youth Games 2025 in Bahrain with a young and determined group of athletes representing the nation across six sporting disciplines — Muay, Athletics, Boxing, Taekwondo, Swimming, and Judo. For most, it was their first international debut, yet their spirited performances, personal bests, and commendable displays of sportsmanship reflected Bhutan’s growing strength in youth sports and its bright future on the Asian stage.

The RMD Centre in Babesa was alive with joy and excitement this morning as Bhutan proudly joined the rest of the world in celebrating the first-ever Women’s Cricket Week. The indoor cricket event, organized by Bhutan Cricket, brought together 435 young girls from 11 schools across Thimphu, forming 72 teams representing 72 countries — all sharing one passion: cricket.

Team Bhutan has safely landed in Bahrain to compete in the 3rd Asian Youth Games! Departing Thimphu at 3:00 AM and flying out of Paro at 7:00 AM on October 21, 2025. After a long day of travel, the delegation finally arrived in Bahrain at 11:00 PM local time, tired but triumphant, and is now settling in to prepare for the exciting competition ahead. The spirit of the Dragon has officially landed!
