India House Golf Tournament 2025 Concludes Successfully in Thimphu
The India House Golf Tournament 2025 concluded today, marking a successful finish to one of Bhutan’s longest-running and most awaited sporting events. Organized by the Embassy of India in Bhutan since 1995, the tournament continues to stand as an important symbol of friendship and sporting excellence.
This year’s edition held special meaning as it commemorated the 70th Birth Anniversary of His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo, King Jigme Singye Wangchuck.
Supported by Title Sponsor TATA Power, together with PTC India, Adani Green Energy, Mahindra & Mahindra, and NVVN Ltd., the event drew wide attention and strong participation. The Bhutan Olympic Committee, as the Official Media Partner, played an important role in promoting the tournament.
The tournament opened with the Women’s and Junior categories, highlighting the growing talent and enthusiasm in these groups. The Men’s Category began on 10 November, bringing together 233 golfers from different walks of life.
After five days of qualifying rounds, 78 golfers advanced to the final stage. Over the final two days, players faced the well-known challenges of the India House Golf Course — a short but very technical layout that demands accuracy and patience. The pressure was high, and each participant played with focus and determination to earn their place on the leaderboard.
