The final Youth Reporter competition was held during the day 1 of the OCA – OS Regional Forum on 2nd April 2025

The Youth Reporter Competition, hosted by the Bhutan Olympic Committee (BOC) in collaboration with the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), gave young students from four pilot schools the chance to explore sports journalism ahead of the 20th Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan. After an inspiring session with OCA officials, the top seven students wrote articles on the theme “Why I Want to Become a Sports Journalist.” The competition culminated in Meera Regmi being selected for a direct entry to the 20th Asian Games.

The Bhutan Olympic Committee (BOC), in collaboration with the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), hosted a Art Exhibition to promote the 20th Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan. Featuring top 20 artworks from students of four pilot schools, the event highlighted youthful creativity and the spirit of sportsmanship.

Four winning pieces were selected to be exhibited at the Asian Games in Japan, giving young Bhutanese artists a global platform. The exhibition was a celebration of art, passion, and the power of storytelling through creativity.
