Thimphu, July 10, 2025 — In a moment that reaffirmed the nation’s collective trust, His Royal Highness Prince Jigyel Ugyen Wangchuck was unanimously re-elected as the President of the Bhutan Olympic Committee (BOC) for the term 2025–2029, during the General Assembly held today at the BOC Headquarters in Thimphu.

The unanimous decision reflects not only the confidence of the sporting community but also the deep respect for a leader who has devoted himself to the growth of Bhutanese sport with humility, clarity of purpose, and unwavering commitment.

His Royal Highness has guided the Bhutan Olympic Committee with integrity and vision, placing the development of athletes, promotion of Olympic values, and empowerment of youth at the heart of the Committee’s mission.
