Pursuant to the command received from His Royal Highness (HRH) Prince Jigyel Ugyen Wangchuck, His Majesty’s Representative and President of the Bhutan Olympic Committee (BOC), the BOC is compiling the data of all the cyclists across the country. The consolidated data will help in understanding the current base, to enable the establishment of a Cycling Association in the country. The Association, thereafter, could be the highest governing body for any matter related to the sport of cycling in the country. Royal Thimphu College (RTC) and the Bhutan Olympic Committee (BOC) jointly announce the availability of 6 sports scholarships for the academic year 2020. The scholarship will cover all tuition and boarding costs for 3 years. applicants who meet the RTC admissions criteria with outstanding sporting achievements may apply. Visit www.rtc.bt or www.bhutanolympiccommittee.org for eligibility criteria and details. Applicants should register online for admission first through the RTC website and then submit the RTC-BOC scholarship form in hard copy. The form can be downloaded from RTC or BOC website or can be collected from the RTC city office at Room No. 56, Chang Lam Plaza, Thimphu or the RTC admissions Office at Ngabiphu. The deadline for submission is March 14, 2020, noon. The application form can be submitted at the RTC Office, Ngabiphu or the RTC City Office at Chang Lam Plaza. The Bhutan Olympic Committee (BOC) would like to invite quotations from eligible bidders having valid trade license for the supply of the following financial year 2019-2020. Catering for FY 2019-2020 Printing works for FY 2019-2020 Terms and Conditions: The quotation addressed to the Secretary General, BOC may be submitted before 11:00 AM, on Friday, 18th October, 2019 along with a copy of valid trade license and EMD as per the tender documents. Sealed bids will be opened at 2:30 PM on the same date. BOC reserves the right to reject the quotation assigning to any reasons. The rates quoted should be inclusive of all overhead cost. The rates should be valid for a period of one year from the date of opening. The Bhutan Olympic Committee (BOC) and Royal University of Bhutan (RUB) jointly announce the availability of 5 sports scholarships for the year 2019 at the Paro College of Education to pursue Diploma in Physical Education and Sports Coaching. The scholarship will cover all tuition and boarding costs for 2 years at the Paro College of Education. Applicants who meet the RUB admissions criteria (50% in English and Dzongkha) with outstanding sporting achievements may apply. Applicants should submit duly filled application forms along with all relevant documents at the BOC’s Office located at the Changlingmethang National Stadium.
