His Royal Highness attended the Opening Ceremony of the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympic Games held in Milan, marking the official commencement of the Games. The ceremony was attended by His Excellency Sergio Mattarella, President of the Italian Republic, IOC President Kirsty Coventry, and other dignitaries from across the world.
The Foundational Sports Science Course, conducted by the National Coaching Academy, has successfully concluded, with certificates awarded to all participants. The re-election reaffirms Bhutan’s rare and distinguished presence at the highest level of global sports governance.
