The final putts dropped and scorecards were signed this afternoon at the Royal Thimphu Golf Club, bringing the curtain down on yet another memorable edition of The Gyaltsuen’s Annual Invitational Golf Championship.

Her Majesty, on behalf of all the golfers, we offer our sincere gratitude and heartfelt thanks for this beautiful trophy awarded to the winner of The Gyaltsuen’s Cup 2026.

His Royal Highness Prince Ugyen Jigme Wangchuck graced the final award ceremony and also participated in the tournament, marking a special moment as the championship concluded.

The sound of focused movement and disciplined rhythm filled the training hall at the Changlimithang Taekwondo Hall over the past two days as more than 100 students from 12 schools across Bhutan came together for the Taekwondo Pilot Project 2026, a programme blending sport, mental health awareness, and social values education.

The Bhutan Golf Federation, under the auspices of the Bhutan Olympic Committee and with the support of the Embassy of India in Thimphu, will officially launch The Gyaltsuen’s Annual Invitational Golf Championship 2026 tomorrow at the Royal Thimphu Golf Club.
